Port of NumptyPhysics to Pocket C.H.I.P

Harness gravity with your crayon and set about creating blocks, ramps, levers, pulleys and whatever else you fancy to get the little red thing to the little yellow thing.
Numpty Physics is a drawing puzzle game in the spirit (and style?) of Crayon Physics using the same excellent Box2D engine. Note though that I’ve not actually played CP so the experience may be very different. Numpty Physics includes a built-in editor so that you may build (and submit) your own levels.
Numpty Physics is released under the GPL.

Looks cool, ill have to wait till someone else figures out how to make it work lol.

In Terminal:

wget https://github.com/thp/numptyphysics/releases/download/0.3.4/numptyphysics-0.3.4-pocketchip.tgz
tar xvf numptyphysics-0.3.4-pocketchip.tgz
cd numptyphysics-0.3.4-pocketchip

Ill be trying it out asap

Reminds me of crayon physics

This looks neat, I’m sure I can figure it out given the time but there’s a few problems

The instructions should be (note the lack of the .tgz)

And what libraries or configuration are needed to get past this error? It’s something about GLES 1.1 vs 2.0

Always excited to check out applications using GLES

Make sure you have the latest firmware 4.4 flashed (with Mali driver in the kernel and the Debian package chip-mali-userspace installed).

Thanks thp, I have the 4.4 image installed, I’ll try installing chip-mali-userspace

I can’t even open any of my old threads like Need some handholding for getting VNC/RDP at higher resolutions

after they added this “coding for black girls” header at the top. So much for contributing more. Even if I try to block that element, and for goodness sake I don’t give a f*** about some stupid sh** like that. Make general “help PEOPLE code” don’t make it race/sex specific. But it’s over now

This is great, but is not working real well.

I was able to install and run using your instructions, but the screen response is very slow, and very hard to see the levels and help.

This post loads a version that is much more responsive, but there seems to be no way to get to the tools menu, so I cannot work out how to use things like rope.

I appreciate your work. Thanks.
